Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2023

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Ontario Health was Chief Executive Officer/Chef de la direction Matthew Anderson, who brought home $821,800.17 in 2022.

Following Matthew Anderson was Executive Lead, Population Health and Value-Based Health Systems/Directeur général, Santé de la population et système de santé axé sur la valeur Edward Brown, with annual earnings of $606,091.78. Executive Vice President, Medical/Vice-président exécutif, Services médicaux Christopher Simpson made $540,839.37, Vice President, Prevention and Cancer Control/Vice-présidente, Prévention et lutte contre le cancer Linda Rabeneck made $538,518.99, and General Counsel and Executive Lead Legal, Privacy and Risk/Avocate générale et responsable exécutif des affaires juridiques, de la confidentialité et des risques Anne C Corbett round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $508,388.12 for the Ontario Health 2023 Sunshine List.
